#WALK30 Campaign Co-Designers Share Insights With Kinder Institute for Urban Research

The co-designers of the #WALK30 fitness campaign, Fit Houston’s Lharissa Jacobs and The Texas Heart Institute’s Keri Sprung, MBA, recently shared their perspectives on physical activity and health with Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research. In their article for the Urban Edge blog, Sprung and Jacobs describe their motivations for launching the community-based walking program and their goal to make Houston a healthier city by reducing inequities in physical activity.
