Samantha Churbock is the Sr. HR Generalist in the Human Resources department at the Texas Heart Institute. In her role as Sr. HR Generalist, Samantha actively contributes to THI’s HR department with her work relating to international affairs, compliance, compensation, performance management, and payroll and benefits. Samantha has also helped develop the THI Wellness Committee and rolling out its morale boosting initiatives enjoyed by many employees. Samantha received her Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University and has previously worked in industrial services and healthcare settings. Samantha began her career at THI as an HR Assistant and received her M.B.A. from Texas A&M University in December 2016. Through her incredible hard work, Samantha been promoted to HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, and is currently the Sr. HR Generalist. Samantha also received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2018.
