solated%20cardiac%20fibers%20from%20exercise-trained%20%28ET%3A%208-10%20wk%20daily%20exercise%29%20and%20sedentary%20%28SED%3A%208-10%20wk%20cage-rest%29%20dogs%20to%20examine%20the%20effect%20of%20exercise%20on%20cellular%20electrophysiology%20during%20simulated%20ISC.%20We%20superfused%20fibers%20first%20with%20normal%20Tyrode%26%23039%3Bs%2C%20then%20%26quot%3Bischemic%20Tyrode%26%23039%3Bs%26quot%3B%20%28%5BK%2B%5Do%20%3D%2010%20mM%2C%20pH%20%3D%206.7%2C%20pO2%20%26lt%3B%2025%20mm%20Hg%29%2C%20and%20then%20again%20with%20normal%20Tyrode%26%23039%3Bs.%20In%20automatic%20fibers%2C%20maximum%20diastolic%20potential%20in%20normal%20Tyrode%26%23039%3Bs%20was%20-98%20%2B%5C%2F-%201%20mV%20%28ET%2C%20N%20%3D%2022%29%20and%20-97%20%2B%5C%2F-%201%20mV%20%28SED%2C%20N%20%3D%2023%29%3B%20rates%20were%2020%20%2B%5C%2F-%202%20and%2018%20%2B%5C%2F-%203%20bpm%20for%20ET%20and%20SED%2C%20respectively.%20All%20fibers%20depolarized%20to%20-61%20%2B%5C%2F-%202%20mV%20with%20ISC.%20Abnormal%20rhythms%20%28abnormal%20automaticity%20with%20or%20without%20delayed%20afterdepolarizations%29%20during%20ISC%20alone%20were%20seen%20in%200%25%20of%20ET%20and%2033%25%20of%20SED%3B%20during%20ISC%20with%20alpha-adrenergic%20stimulation%20with%205%20x%2010%28-8%29%20M%20phenylephrine%20the%20incidence%20was%2025%25%20of%20ET%20and%200%25%20of%20SED%3B%20during%20ISC%20with%20isoproterenol%20it%20was%2075%25%20for%20ET%20%28P%20%26lt%3B%200.05%20vs%20control%29%20and%2038%25%20for%20SED.%20Transmembrane%20potentials%20in%20paced%20subendocardial%20fibers%20were%20similar%20for%20ET%20and%20SED%20during%20control%2C%20ISC%2C%20and%20reperfusion.%20Exercise%20did%20not%20alter%20cellular%20electrophysiology%20but%20did%20influence%20ectopic%20rhythms%20seen%20with%20beta-stimulation%20during%20ISC.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%22Jul%201995%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22eng%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%22%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%220195-9131%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22%22%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%22KEV4CQAS%22%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222019-02-04T13%3A42%3A39Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
