Jaqueline Ferrufino

Jackie is currently a Senior at St. John's High School. For two years, she served hundreds of hours with an organization called Homerun Hitters International where she was a volunteer counselor and rehabilitator in training for children and young adults with severe mental impairments and other disabilities. This experience sparked an interest in pediatrics and Texas Heart has been a crucial part of an exposure to the medical field. Show full bio

Jackie is also the Co-Founder of a small, new non-profit organization called “Latino Education Group” that focuses on recruiting low-income Latinx students in the metropolitan Houston area to Private/ Independent High Schools. As a student once in this position, she saw a great need for extending information on the phenomenal educational opportunities private schools offer to under-resourced families.
