Is it possible to laser a stent in the hope of reopening it?
Is it possible to laser through the inside of a stent to try to re-open a stent collapsing from pressure in the middle? A balloon was already used to try to re-open the stent.

by Neil E. Strickman, MD There are multiple devices to treat ISR (in-stent restenosis), including laser, atherectomy, and drug coated balloon. All have limited success.
