On October fourth, the Texas Heart Institute and Rice University’s Baker Institute for Health and Biosciences will host a panel discussion on Texas H.B. 810, or “Charlie’s Law,” which was passed in the 85th Texas Legislative Session. Charlie’s Law expands the right-to-try laws in Texas so that patients with chronic and terminal illnesses can have access to experimental stem cell interventions.
