James T. Willerson Cardiovascular Sciences Seminar 2018-2019

A THI Education Collaboration

Next Seminar

The James T. Willerson, MD Cardiovascular Sciences Seminar Series is a multi-institutional program organized by the Texas Heart Institute and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and attended by investigators, colleagues and trainees from clinical and teaching institutions across the Texas Medical Center including: Baylor College of Medicine, Rice University, Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Houston Methodist Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as visitors and members of the Texas Medical Center.

Connecting outstanding scientists nationally and internationally

A unified forum for the cardiovascular research community

The seminar is held Thursdays during the academic year (September – May) from 4:00-5:00 pm at the Texas Heart Institute in the Denton A. Cooley Auditorium.  There is no cost to attend and the seminar is open to the public with a special focus toward postdoctoral fellows, scientists, researchers and physicians.

This seminar series provides a unified forum for the cardiovascular research community within the Texas Medical Center to meet, and it connects us to outstanding scientists nationally and internationally.
