Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Student Scholar Summer Program at The Texas Heart Institute.

Applicants must be 17 or older and high school or college students interested in science, technology, engineering, and medicine.

Accepted applicants will be hired as THI employees to work with mentors in our research departments on assigned projects over the summer.

Weekly Lunch & Learn talks, scientific writing classes, and educational tours of our labs and facilities are also included.

At the program conclusion, students give a presentation to their mentors, fellow Student Scholars, and Texas Heart researchers and staff.
