The 2024 Global Cardiovascular Forum highlights new guidelines, approaches, technologies, and procedures in the care of the cardiovascular patient to educate a national and international audience of physicians in the recent changes to the practice of cardiology. The faculty will discuss recent ACC/AHA guidelines, aortic stenosis, transcatheter aortic valve replacement versus surgical replacement in younger patients, percutaneous coronary intervention versus coronary bypass grafting, treatment strategies and barriers to caring for underrepresented patients with heart disease, the indications, risks and benefits of non-invasive assessment of chest pain and intravascular coronary imaging and novel treatments for atrial fibrillation. The target audience includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, residents, fellows and other medical care providers interested in the care of the cardiovascular patient.
