Summer Innovation Internship Program for Students — Now Accepting Applications

Dr. Mehdi Razavi and his team greatly value the creativity and out-of-the-box ingenuity of students, which is why they host students each summer to work on some of their most exciting in-house projects.

The team is looking for highly motivated students to join a 10-week paid internship program, where interns will develop cutting edge technology focused on cardiology and electrophysiology and learn the skills required to do so along the way.

Dr. Razavi is the founding Director of Electrophysiology Clinical Research & Innovations at the Texas Heart Institute. He is involved with numerous clinical projects assessing the efficacy of cutting edge technologies in the field of cardiac electrophysiology and inventing solutions to revolutionize cardiac patient care. His innovations are featured in Scientific American, InnovationMap, Houston Chronicle, Voice of America News, and Texas Heart Institute News.

He works closely with engineering colleagues at Texas Heart Institute’s Center for Preclinical Surgical & Interventional Research Laboratory and with many exceptional collaborators at Rice University, the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, and UCLA. Learn more about the Electrophysiology Clinical Research & Innovations team and their current projects and apply for this exhilarating summer internship.

Applications are open and accepted through April 30.
