Esmerelda Miranda was diagnosed with heart disease at birth and received her heart transplant in May 2010. Esmerelda is constantly learning about her condition and looks forward to sharing her story with more women in her community. Esmerelda volunteers with the Heart Exchange and CHI Health—Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and has spoken at many women’s retreats, local colleges and universities about women’s heart health awareness.
