It’s Getting Spooky Around THI

On Wednesday, October 27th the THI/THMG Wellness Committee hosted a team pumpkin-carving contest. All Texas Heart Institute and Texas Heart Medical Group departments were invited to submit pumpkins carved with a movie theme. Judges selected the top 3 entries and winning teams were awarded gift card prizes. All THI and THMG staff were also invited to vote for their favorite pumpkin and the team which won the popular vote also received a gift card.

In first place— winner of the Golden Pumpkin and a $200 gift card, presented by Dr. Rogers —was the Clinical Research Team, with their imaginative take on The Nightmare Before Christmas.

In second place, winning a $100 gift card, was the THI Administration team with Cruella and coming in third, winning a $50 gift card, was a THMG team (Heather, Victoria, and Emma) with E.T. the Extra Terrestrial.
