Question:

Can bradycardia cause a headache that has lasted continuously (24 hours per day unless medicated) for the last 2 years?

Can bradycardia cause contraction of muscles in the neck and shoulders and cause a headache that has lasted continuously (24 hours per day unless medicated) for the last 2 years? My heart rate is usually between 50 and 55 and at times drops to 44 to 48. When it is in the 44 to 48 range I develop extreme fatigue and mild anxiety. I am 62 years old and not an athlete.

Bradycardia from Sick Sinus Syndrome (aging of the natural pacemaker) can cause fatigue, to be tireless, inability to perform physical tasks, and to be sleepy at rest.
First thing is to review any medication that may be worsening the condition, and if nothing can be improved, a pacemaker with response to exercise.
No, headache is not a common symptom.
I would try to find out about the headache first.
