Eighth Symposium and Pinning Ceremony

 

Dr. Neil Strickman is 2016 Educator of the Year for Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Salman Bandeali (right) is named the Texas Heart Institute’s Tauber Outstanding Fellow for the 2015-16 academic year. He was chosen from among the class of third-year fellows by the THI teaching faculty, and he is shown receiving the award from Dr. Stephanie Coulter, Director of Cardiology Education. Salman has completed Cardiovascular Disease training at CHI St Luke’s Health-Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center, home of the Texas Heart Institute. Born in born in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Bandeali has always had a passion for becoming a physician. He completed his Internal Medicine Training at Baylor College of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Bandeali will continue his training by doing an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at CHI St Luke’s Health in the coming academic year.
