THI Joins ARMI BioFabUSA program

The Regenerative Medicine Research (RMR) team at Texas Heart Institute, led by Dr. Doris Taylor, has been spotlighted as a new member on the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) BioFabUSA program’s website.

ARMI’s mission is to “make practical the large-scale manufacturing of engineered tissues and tissue-related technologies, to benefit existing industries and grow new ones.” The program is designed to attract and develop an ecosystem of education, medical and mission driven non-profit institutions whose areas of research, areas of practice or philanthropic mission include, or could benefit from, Tissue-Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (TERM) related technologies.

The new member spotlight provides background and highlights some of the achievements that the RMR team has made thus far since the department launched in 2012. Read the spotlight here.
