Every year the Texas Heart Institute joins the NHLBI, The Heart Truth®, and organizations around the country on National Wear Red Day® to bring greater attention to heart disease as a leading cause of death for Americans.

Celebrated each year on the first Friday in February this day unites organizations across the United States dedicated to reducing the devasting toll of cardiovascular disease.
