Texas Heart Institute (THI) conducts research through clinical trials as part of our mission to improve heart health. The trials conducted at THI are designed to test the safety and effectiveness of innovative new treatments and medications for patients.
Innovative Technologies & Techniques is produced at THI and explores promising advances in medicine that aim to extend the life of cardiac patients and patients at risk for series heart and vascular conditions. In response to the evolving pandemic, emerging topics related to COVID-19 are featured in the special Cardiology in the Time of COVID-19 episodes.

Girl Scouts celebrate with the Texas Heart Institute for the 7th year! Girls will learn the importance of staying fit for heart health with robot “Cool-E” of Project Heart fame while exploring heart anatomy, the cardiovascular system, healthy eating, and exercise. Learn about the Project Heart curriculum and activities that you can enjoy at home with friends and family.
Juniors will work towards their Staying Fit badge and Brownies towards their My Best Self badge. All Girl Scouts will receive a special Cool-E Patch!
