This half day symposium focuses on new guidelines, new approaches, new technologies and new procedures in the care of the Cardiovascular patient to educate a national and international audience of physicians in the recent changes to the practice of Cardiology. This year’s symposium will cover topics such as heart failure management, heart disease in women, percutaneous management of valvular diseases, minimalist approaches to TAVR, and more.

Overview
The purpose of this inaugural forum is to educate a national and international audience of physicians in the recent changes to the practice of Cardiology.
The focus will be on new guidelines, new approaches, new technologies and new procedures in care of the Cardiovascular patient.

Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this symposium, participants should be able to:
• Discuss recent ACC/AHA guidelines in the care of patients with continued chest pain
• Discuss updated ACC/AHA guidelines for heart failure management
• Discuss prevention strategies for women with heart disease
• Explain the percutaneous management of mitral and tricuspid valvular diseases
• Describe the minimalist approach to the use of TAVR
• Explain the team-based approach for patients in cardiogenic shock the indication for pedal access

Target Audience
The target audience includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other medical care providers who are interested in this medical care.
