VIDEO: Basketball Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon supports our work at the The Center for Coronary Artery Anomalies at Texas Heart Institute. During a visit, he went through the MRI screening in our Mobile Imaging Unit.

The Center's Mission is to promote the awareness, training, screening and treatment of coronary artery anomalies and sudden cardiac death in athletes. A research program, which includes the screening of 10,000 Houston-area students is under way. The Center is striving to produce experimental evidence that will likely change the way these conditions are viewed by the general public and the medical profession in general.
