CME Information - Overview

This presenter will discuss the process of remodeling in heart failure and the pathophysiologic consequences of this process.

Educational Objectives
The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to-

  • Review biochemical consequences of remodeling.
  • Describe the effects of cytokines on collagen production.
  • Discuss the possible options for therapeutic intervention.

Target Audience
The intended audience for this continuing medical education activity includes cardiologists, surgeons, internists, and researchers.

Method of Instruction / Participation
This online enduring material comprises slide sets with text and audio derived from a live cardiology grand rounds presentation with post activity assessment and evaluation.
