Advanced Transesophageal Echocardiography

   Abstract

A 60-year-old man who was an orthotopic heart transplant recipient presented with improving right-sided hemiparesis (stroke). He underwent heart transplantation many years before for ischemic cardiomyopathy. He is now known to have advanced allograft coronary artery disease and moderately reduced left ventricular systolic function.
