The health maintenance consultation is a one-on-one lifestyle evaluation for healthy individuals. St. Luke’s multidisciplinary specialists will provide information and coaching on lifestyle/behavior change to assist in meeting personalized goals. All consultations will require a physician order and a copy of patient’s history/physical, medications, lab results and most recent stress test.
Exercise Consultations
People of all ages who are habitually sedentary can improve their health, fitness, and well-being by becoming even moderately active. Physical activity reduces the risk of cardiovascular mortality, coronary heart disease, obesity, hypertension, breast and colon cancer and diabetes mellitus while improving musculoskeletal strength and mental health. The staff utilizes standards set by the American College of Sports medicine and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
