Question:
Do I need a second opinion regarding the need for medications?
My blood pressure dropped in December when I lost 20 pounds, and my dr took me off my medications. I'm still overweight. I just had an echocardiogram which was normal and a nuclear stress test. The dr said I have a slightly enlarged heart and prescribed Coreg. My blood pressure and pulse run low. Do I need a second opinion?

A patient may consider getting a second opinion any time he or she may feel that a particular doctor's explanation warrants verification by another physician.
