Question:

Is a new angiography necessary for my aunt?

My aunt, 75 years old, did the angiography 1 year ago and the report said that 2 arteries are 70% blocked. Doctor put 2 drug eluting stents. Since then, she has been on anti-cholesterol medication and Plavix. In the last months she is getting tired very easily if she makes physical effort. Is this a sign that something is wrong? Is a new angiography necessary? I would appreciate an answer. Thank you.

Any coronary patient with fatigue should be evaluated by their physician to answer this question. Fatigue can be a side effect of medications but effort induced symptoms could certainly be reflective of progressive coronary disease.
