Is therapeutic massage okay after cardiac catheterization?
After a cardiac catheterization (with no stent or angioplasty, and no heart conditions), is it OK to get a therapeutic massage a couple of weeks afterward? (Groin was used, and exoseal).

It is perfectly safe to resume all normal activities including massage at 2 weeks post cath. If there is still a knot that you can feel at the groin site, then direct massage of that site should be avoided until the exoseal plug can no longer be felt. Otherwise, massage is safe and may be therapeutic!
