My father has a St. Jude aortic heart valve. Is it okay for him to have an MRI?
My father is having an MRI... he has a St Jude aortic valve serial # 60047546. Model # 25AEC-102 inserted on 7/11/1994... is he okay to have an MRI on his back performed?

Yes, St. Jude prosthetic heart valves are compatible with MRI, but this is important information that the radiologist will want to know.
