Question:
Does Prinzmetal angina ever go away?
Does Prinzmetal angina ever go away? I take 2.5 mg of amlodipine and my ankles still swell. Not as bad as before when I took a larger dose, but still some swelling. I have been taking this for about 10 years now. I was wondering if I could ever get off of it if the Prinzmetal angina should go away. Thanks.

Yes, it can go away with aging. In the meantime, a diuretic may be helpful for the swelling secondary to amlodipine. Check with your physician who prescribed it for you.
