Is a heart rate of 49 anything to worry about?

I have been monitoring my blood pressure and heart rate for the past BP has been averaging around pulse has been averaging around 60 bpm however today it dove down to 49.. Is this anything to worry about?..I had a heart attack in 2010 with three stents and two more stents in April of 2011..also the BP machine has indicated an irregular heartbeat on three occasions in the past two weeks..thanks in advance

Dear Kevin: A heart rate of 49 is probably related to your medication. If the "irregularities" are frequent, you should have an event monitor. Sincerely.
