The study of adult stem cells and their role in treating cardiovascular disease is quickly becoming an acceptable mode of treatment. The challenge remains to identify the very best types of stem cells, refine our delivery techniques, and establish the most effective doses of stem cells.
Target Audience Cardiologists desiring to further their knowledge of how stem cells play a role in heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, and peripheral vascular disease will find the discussions timely and relevant to their practice in providing improved patient care. The goal of this symposium is to educate physicians on the clinical application of stem cells in cardiovascular disease.
