The computer graphics section of Visual Communication Services (VCS) offers the following services.
VCS creates Acrobat (PDF) documents and converts most digital files into an alternate format. File formats include, but are not limited to, PDF (Acrobat), PSD, TIFF, EPS, JPEG and WMF.
Graphics for publication
VCS prepares graphs, charts, and digital images for publication. We can prepare electronic files for submission as well as provide high-resolution prints. If you are preparing your own digital images, please read How to Prepare Digital Images for Publication before submitting them to VCS or a publisher.
VCS offers full-service production, editing and printing of large-format posters for scientific sessions. Our Guidelines for Poster Production provides detailed instructions on submitting materials to VCS for poster production.Scanning
VCS scans line art, photographs, slides, negatives, and diagnostic images to create digital files that are appropriate for either publication or presentation. Supported output includes native digital files, PowerPoint files, PDFs and prints.
VCS creates PowerPoint presentations that include
text, graphs, charts, tables, images, and video.
